House of the Dragon did serious numbers on HBO Max, and it seems the team behind it plans to double down on the fire-breathing aesthetic.

Co-creator Ryan Condal recently attended the FYC HBO event in New York alongside eight cast members, including Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), Paddy Considine (King Viserys/Targaryen), Eve Best (Rhaenys Targaryen), Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower), Steve Toussaint (Corlys Velaryon), Fabien Frankel (Criston Cole), and Emily Carey (young Alicent Hightower) as well as co-creator George R.R. Martin.

After screenings for the eighth episode of season one called "The Lord of the Tides" ended, Condal and the rest of the panel engaged in a Q&A session with Josh Gad, spilling the beans on the upcoming season two. Production begins pretty shortly," Condal said before adding, "In season 2, you're going to meet five new dragons."
