Samuel L. Jackson confirms return as Nick Fury for The Marvels in new photos

The 72-year-old actor took to Instagram to confirm that he's going to play Nick Fury in the upcoming MCU movie. He uploaded a photo of the prosthetic facial hair that he wears when playing Nick Fury and another photo where he's wearing a printed shirt showing Fury's hand holding the pager that the S.H.I.E.L.D Director uses to contact Captain Marvel.

If this isn't enough to convince you, Jackson posted another photo on Instagram with #themarvels, which all but confirms that filming on The Marvels has begun. Where else can we watch Jackson's Nick Fury? It appears that we'll have to wait a while to see Jackson reprise his iconic MCU role.

We can't blame you for wanting to see more of Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury in the MCU. He's been a constant presence in the universe, bested only by Stan Lee's cameos in terms of MCU film appearances.

So, if you're wondering when and where you'll see Nick Fury next, it will most likely be in the Disney+ series, Secret Invasion.

The upcoming TV series will see Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn's Talos' make an appearance again. The latter is the spaceshifting Skrull who disguised himself to look like Fury on Earth during the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home. All the while, the former S.H.I.E.L.D head was out in space.
