It appears that Embracer Group has found someone willing to take over the job of remaking Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the PS5 and PC from Aspyr Media.

Previously, we reported that Lucasfilm and Sony expressed their displeasure after seeing the demo of Aspyr Media's progress on the highly anticipated remake. As a result, Embracer Group put the game on ice until it could find a new studio.

Over the weekend, we found out that Embracer was actively looking for a new studio for a mystery AAA project.

Now, it's starting to look like this is for the KOTOR remake.

According to Bloomberg, Saber, which had provided Aspyr support throughout the game's development, has taken over.
