Ryan Coogler wants to return for Black Panther 3

He adds, "But I think it's bigger than just me or Joe. Between the first and second movie, we made $2 billion at the box office, which is what matters the most to corporations. So I hope that it continues, man. I hope people are still making movies about Wakanda long after we're gone."

Marvel's Kevin Feige has always expressed confidence in the talent of Coogler in directing films. "Well, I would want Ryan to do anything at any time because he's a singular talent and a great person to spend years with," Feige previously said about the director. Possible plot of Black Panther 3 Black Panther 3 could have a plot that ties Shuri and the rest of the characters to the Multiverse Saga.

Marvel has not yet revealed plans for a third Black Panther film. However, it is unlikely that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be the last movie in the series after its recent success at the box office. The only question is what would the story of Black Panther 3 be like.

Black Panther 3 could be part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as there are still slots that need to be filled. Coogler could write a script that ties Wakanda to the rest of the MCU as the second film was mostly self-contained and was not tied into the overarching theme of the Multiverse Saga.

Marvel can also continue Namor's unfinished beef with the surface world and the United Nation's continued interest in Vibranium. The film could potentially expand on CIA Director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine's****interest in the mineral that can only be found in Wakanda and Talocan. This could see Shuri and Namor team up to fight off parties who are interested in acquiring the mineral.

The third film might even use Coogler's original plans for Black Panther 2 and explore more of King T'Challa's son as well as the void left by the passing of Queen Ramondo. The second film ended with M'Baku challenging for the throne of Wakanda and Shuri not being present at the ritual battle. The film could focus on the next King of Wakanda and his relationship with Shuri, the current protector of the kingdom.

Whichever way Ryan Coogler wants to go, it will surely be a masterpiece like the first two films of the Black Panther series.
