At first glance, both of these don't have too much in common. But, it appears the two companies saw that there were enough similarities to strike a partnership and integrate Rotten Tomatoes into what TikTok refers to as the "TikTok Jump.

With TikTok Jump, users can now select Rotten Tomatoes from its list of available Jumps and link to TV trailers, movies, ratings, reviews, and other important information.

In its press release, Rotten Tomatoes describes how popular "Film and TV clips and soundbites" have been on TikTok. Because commenters frequently request "more information on the content they're discovering", the site's partnership with TikTok will make it easier for creators to "inform and entertain audiences".
