There's palpable anticipation for the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6. Now, with the game's first trailer coming out in around two weeks, Rockstar is making some noticeable changes to its website.
The publisher has removed references to the Social Club, with that branding and associated text now being replaced with the wording "Rockstar Games platform". The logo for the gaming service is also missing from the site.
Fans speculate that the removal of the Social Club references means that Rockstar intends to sunset and replace Social Club with something else when Grand Theft Auto 6 arrives.
Of course, Rockstar may also just be renaming the service to the "Rockstar Games [platform]" or similar. At this point though, despite the changes to the website, references to the Social Club still remain both GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption Online.
Additionally, fans have noticed that Rockstar Games is now using a different color scheme for the logo on its website. Previously, Rockstar used the yellow and black logo, but is now using a black and white color scheme.
