Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition should have been an easy win for Rockstar Games. Instead, the compilation of PS2-era GTA titles was easily Rockstar's worst launch in a while. After it came out on November 11, GTA: The Trilogy was panned by audiences and critics alike to the point that customers started asking for refunds en masse. Although Rockstar has promised to fix the bundle since then, the GTA Trilogy's current state still isn't ideal, to say the least.

The good news is that Rockstar remains committed to providing fixes for GTA: The Trilogy, which the studio reaffirmed in a recent tweet.

According to Rockstar Games' official Twitter account, a new update for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition will go live sometime next week. In addition, Rockstar confirmed that the patch will be available across all platforms. Unfortunately, Rockstar did not go into specific detail about what the upcoming update will include, but if the patch warrants an "announcement", then we can expect something substantial from it.
