Red Dead Online is already dead. Players even held a funeral mourning the game's demise after Rockstar Games dropped support for it to work on GTA 6 and GTA Online. But, it appears that Rockstar hasn't completely given up on Red Dead Online.

The full patch notes for update 1.31 reveals a healthy mix of quality-of-life upgrades, new activities, bug fixes, and even performance improvements.

The latest Red Dead Online update isn't massive, by any means. Some are complaining that Rockstar should give the game a proper send-off. But, at this point, the majority are happy to take what they can get. If nothing else, giving Rockstar space to work on GTA 6 will help speed up the development of Red Dead Redemption 3, which hopefully comes out before the decade ends, if not the early 2030s.
