A ransomware group is believed to have hacked into Bandai Namco's database.

According to multiple groups that monitor malware attacks, the ransomware group, ALPHV, is holding the publisher of popular games like this year's best-selling title, Elden Ring, hostage.

It is still unclear how much ALPHV is asking for or if this is true. Bandai Namco also still haven't confirmed if the attack took place. But, if we assume that ALPHV is ransoming Bandai Namco, we can look forward to a list of upcoming games from the publisher in the next few weeks.

In fact, we don't have to wait at all. An industry insider has already leaked Bandai Namco's pipeline for the current fiscal year, which includes an Elden Ring DLC, a new Armored Core game, and Little Nightmares 3, among others.

At first glance, you would probably say that the leaked image of Bandai's FY23 schedule is not real. Q1 of FY 2023 is from April to June, which has already passed and we did not see Bandai release a new Armored Core game or Dragon Ball: The Breakers. But, the dates from recent similar hacks were off by months, and this could be the case here.
