By the looks of it, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is coming out soon. This is based on the partnership between the property's owners, Konami, and Epic Games, which brings the franchise's longtime lead, Solid Snake, into The Island to do battle against the likes of other iconic video game characters like Kratos, Ezio, Chun-Li, and more. But, while fans are celebrating the arrival of David, it looks like Epic has another skin up his sleeve.
Solid Snake is the latest cosmetic available in Fortnite. Available as of January 23, the Solid Snake skin isn't up for sale. Instead, you'll need to complete a series of challenges to get the skin (and more if you want to get the extra cosmetics).
Players have until the end of Chapter 5 Season 1 on March 8 to get the Solid Snake skin, which is plenty of time to crawl about and hide in boxes.
However, according to a leak by HypeX, a prominent Fortnite insider, the next Metal Gear skin is just right around the corner and it's someone fans definitely want to see more of but, unfortunately, not the variant that they like.
As per the leaked images, Raiden will be available as a skin in Fortnite in due time. The former child soldier and fresh FOXHOUND recruit will appear as he did in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, an award-winning title that's as famous for its meta narrative and gameplay as it is for bait-and-switching gamers by having them play as Raiden for the majority of the gameplay instead of Solid Snake.
