Exactly 45 years after Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope premiered back in 1977, Ewan McGregor is set to reprise his role from the prequel trilogy. The upcoming Disney+ series will star the Star Wars actor in a four-episode limited series set in between the events of 2005's Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, showing what the fan-favorite Jedi has been up to during the ten-year gap now that he's one of the few Jedis left.

Unfortunately, despite revealing the premiere date of Obi-Wan Kenobi, May 25, Disney has kept a tight lid over other important details regarding Obi-Wan Kenobi. Fans haven't even gotten a trailer yet, which many believed would be part of Super Bowl LVI. But, if we believe the recent rumors, the wait is all about to come to an end.

Obi-Wan Kenobi originally started out as a movie.

According to Making Star Wars, an anonymous source tipped them that the upcoming Star Wars show's first trailer is coming on March 9. Furthermore, the outlet claims that the same source showed proof of legitimacy by showing a series of images. Of course, as Making Star Wars is not affiliated with Disney, take everything that you just read with a grain of salt.
