Hawk-eyed fans notice Project C listing from EA on Amazon UK

A mystery Amazon listing from Electronic Arts is sparking a lot of debate about what it could be.

Games showcases are usually preceded by a set of leaks that often hint at what’s about to be announced at the event itself. EA Play Live 2021 is no exception.

While Electronic Arts have made certain details about the games that it will announce at EA Play Live 2021 known, it doesn’t take a tinfoil hat-wearing genius to know that EA is still keeping some things close to its chest. As such, it was only natural for some of these unannounced titles to leak in the days prior.

One of them seems to be a mysterious new listing on Amazon that goes under the name of Project C.

What is Project C?

Hawk-eyed Fans Notice Project C Listing From Ea On Amazon Uk

As you can see from the image above, the Project C listing is currently unknown, out of stock, and listed as being available only for the PlayStation 5.

There are two reasons why this matters: EA Play Live 2021 and the recent talks about a Dead Space reboot.

According to an earlier leak, the Dead Space remake will appear at EA Play Live 2021. Because EA hasn’t confirmed or denied this, fans are desperate to find more clues. The Project C listing spotted on Amazon UK is not a confirmation, by any means. However, it does suggest that EA is up to something.

At the time of this writing, the page is still up. You can check it out yourself by clicking here.

What is perhaps the most surprising aspect of this listing is that we are yet to spot a rating from the ESRB. This suggests that the game isn’t ready for launch yet. Thus, the page might be a placeholder for pre-orders for whatever EA plans on announcing soon.

Having said that, much of the information on the page is still “subject to change”.

When is EA Play Live 2021?

At this point, Project C could be anything or nothing at all.

With EA Play Live 2021 set for July 22, it probably won’t be long before we find out what Project C is, if it even is a real game.

While audiences will definitely want to find out what kind of game Project C is, EA Play Live 2021 already has a robust lineup confirmed. This includes Battlefield 2042 with Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s Valparaiso map and the newest season for Apex Legends.

EA Play Live 2021 will kick off on July 22 at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET / 1:00 AM HKT and will be hosted by WWE’s Austin Creed.
