You'll be forgiven for not remembering 2019's A Plague Tale: Innocence. Asobo Studio's action-adventure stealth title might have been a critical darling featuring one of the most badass heroines in gaming, but it didn't stand out in a stacked 2019 slate.

However, the cult classic game did sell well enough to warrant a sequel, which might be coming out soon, as per a very reliable source.

According to a Microsoft Store leak, A Plague Tale: Requiem could come out on June 17. Although the listing itself states that the game will be out by June 17, 2021, and not 2022, this could be a typo. Not to mention, a summer launch window, even if it is not June 17, makes a lot of sense as both the original game and the remaster were released right around the same time.

Some also think that Asobo could announce the game's release date tomorrow at the Future Games Show.
