Sony confirms PlayStation Plus Essential games for August

As for the other two games, Little Nightmares and Yakuza Like a Dragon are fan favorites as well. The former is a puzzle-platformer adventure game by Tarsier Studios that had a follow-up last year. Chronologically, it is a sequel as Little Nightmares 2 tells events that happened before the first game. Meanwhile, Yakuza Like a Dragon is a spin-off from the main Yakuza games. Instead of the usual street-brawling gameplay, Yakuza: Like a Dragon uses RPG-like turn-based combat. But, despite the changes, Like a Dragon is still very much like the Yakuza games with its massive open world and engrossing episodic story.

As for select territories, Unrailed! is an underrated co-op game where the basic premise is to upgrade trains and make sure it doesn't derail from the tracks.

Sony has been on a tear after rolling out the revamped PS Plus to all territories. In addition to making Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, among others,free for all PS Plus subscribers last month, Sony added a smorgasbord of Ubisoft titles and more to the Extra and Premium / Deluxe tiers a few weeks back. If Sony does the same thing next month, PS Plus Essential members who are still on the fence will have no choice but to upgrade.
