Last year saw the release of several highly anticipated titles, including Bethesda Game Studios' first original IP in a long time, Starfield.
It's impossible to overstate just how hyped the game was prior to its release. Unfortunately, while it remains a big hit, at least commercially, public perception hasn't been kind to it after launching. On the other hand, Baldur's Gate 3, a game that wasn't really on anyone's radar outside of its core fanbase before it became available to play for the general public following a years-long Early Access period, continues to draw praise, applause, and critical acclaim. Yet, despite the opposing fan opinion on Starfield and Baldur's Gate 3, it appears that the numbers speak for themselves.
