Far Cry 6 has a feature of you owning a pet in the game, but players have found out that there are mini-games in which their pets can partake, one of which is the cockfighting mini-game. The game mini-game format closely resembles popular fighter games such as Tekken or Mortal Kombat.

This mini-game grabbed PETA's attention, which called it a "horrific blood sport" in a statement issued on October 7, 2021, the same day as Far Cry 6's worldwide release.
