Fans know that the duo of Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are inseparable in the X-Men movies as the pair have portrayed Professor X and Magneto since 2000's X-Men.
Stewart made his MCU debut as Professor X in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, much to the delight of fans. In addition to this, the actor recently hinted that he may have a part in Deadpool 3 alongside Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
It looks like Stewart is not the only one making a return, as Stewart also hinted that McKellen may be reprising his role as Magneto. In an interview with ET Online, Stewart teased that his longtime X-Men co-star might be interested in returning as Magneto in the MCU.
"Charles Xavier? Well, I am looking to borrow his wheelchair if we're to do much more Star Trek, or standing up is becoming a bit of a problem.," Stewart said. He adds that "[he] can't say about what Charles' future might possibly hold."
