Following a teaser trailer released last month, Paramount Pictures has finally released the first full trailer for its upcoming slasher horror film Scream 6 to its YouTube channel.
While the teaser trailer gave an inkling of what to expect in the new film, the new trailer adds depth and provides more insight.
The new trailer confirms what we already know from the teaser trailer, which is that the film will be set in New York City for the first time. After surviving the events of the previous installment, Samantha and Tara Carpenter ditch Woodsboro, where the vast majority of the series has been set until now, with the twins, Chad and Mindy Meeks, following in their footsteps.
Unfortunately for them, there is nowhere far enough to escape Ghostface's shadow. They soon encounter a new masked killer who seems even more sinister than anything viewers have ever seen on screen. Besides, one of the film's stars recently promised that the film will be gorier than its predecessor with its directors determined to go all out to provide fans with a truly satisfying slasher film experience.
