Oddworld Soulstorm Endings Explained

Basically, what happens is that every Mudokon and Slig inside the Soulstorm brewery dies after Chief Executive Officer Molluck detonated the factory, which unfortunately includes good ol' Abe. This also means that Abe's mission has failed and that there's no one left alive to tell anyone that the revolution nor Abe ever existed at all. Bad Ending If you save 80% of the Mudokons in at least 7 up to 11 levels in Oddworld Storm, you get to unlock the Bad Ending and an additional scene involving a clumsy Abe spilling some Soulstorm brew that blows up the engine room of the train. The explosion leaves everyone inside the factory dead with Abe lamenting how this all came about from his bad Quarma. Good Ending Unlocking the Good Ending requires clearly at least 12 levels with 80% of the Mudokons saved from an untimely death. Do this and you'll witness the Glukkons squabbling with each other as the Mudokon uprising starts to get traction. Molluck then sends a group of Sligs to kill his partners after hearing of their plans to overthrow him.

The ending concludes with a scene where Abe tells his friends that he knows where the Mudokans came from, which is clearly a setup for the next game in the franchise. Final Ending Unlocking the Final Ending in Oddworld Soulstorm isn't easy. It means that you'll have to put in the effort and complete all 17 levels of the game with a survival rate of at least 80%. This means that of the roughly 1,400 Mudokons that Abe can rescue in Oddworld Soulstorm, you'll have to leave no more than 200 to 300 dead or behind.

For all of your efforts though, the game will award you with a pretty sweet bonus scene that sees how much impact Abe's revolution has had on the Glukkons. In fact, according to the newspaper headline, Molluck has since gone incognito as Mudokons throughout the world start realizing that there's no reason to be slaves anymore.
