Nintendo to end this month with a third-party-focused Direct showcase

Sources are claiming that we can expect to see a Persona port be revealed at the unannounced showcase.

The report comes just days after Nintendo concluded its Xenoblade Chronicles 3 showcase.

Are we getting a Nintendo Directo showcase later this month? According to the grapevine talk, we’ll hear more from the Japanese console manufacturer real soon.

Audiences missed Nintendo’s presence at this year’s massive lineup of gaming events and shows, which is probably why we’re getting all kinds of reports that the company will end the month with its own event. Although we have not received an official confirmation yet, several sources have corroborated each other’s reports in recent weeks. This would imply that they’re telling the truth – a new Nintendo Direct is coming next week.

The latest credible source to come forward with the same info is the editor of the Spanish games magazine, Manual, Nacho Requena. The tenured journalist revealed on Friday that major publishers will have their time in the limelight at a Nintendo Direct on Tuesday.

This wouldn’t be Nintendo’s first time holding an exhibition of third-party titles. During the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nintendo held several livestreams titled “Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase” that featured content exclusively from third-party partners. However, we didn’t get to see such an event in 2021, which led many to believe that it was all a one-year thing for Nintendo. But, if we believe the recent rumors, this isn’t the case.

At the moment, Nintendo’s lineup for the second half of the year includes Splatoon 3, Bayonetta 3, and Mario + Rabbits: Sparks of Hope as well as Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

No Man's Sky is another game that's expected to hit the Switch later this year.

The good news is that we don’t have to wait too long to find out if everything we’ve heard so far is real or not.

Speaking of presentations, we’re also expecting Sony to hold a State of Play event later next week. If we’re lucky, we’ll have two big events to look forward to before the month ends, both of which should give us a better look at all upcoming games for the year.
