We already know that a new Assassin's Creed game is coming and it appears that the latest installment in Ubisoft's best-selling action-adventure franchise is headed somewhere fans have wanted to visit for a long time.
The 15-year-old franchise has taken audiences on magical trips all around the globe. Case in point, the most recent open-world RPG trilogy took gamers on a romp through Ancient Egypt, Greece, and England. Now, the next game could feature the ancient civilization that settled and prospered in central Mexico in the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries.
Historically, the Aztecs are credited for a lot of medical and scientific advancements. The Aztecs are also believed to be the first to require education for their people.
With several pyramid-like structures scattered all over South America to this day, we've no doubt that the next Assassin's Creed game will do a game based on this setting much justice - if the rumors are true.
