Cyberpunk 2077 is probably one of the most gorgeous-looking games available right now. The visuals of Night City are extremely detailed and highly immersive. The graphics are top-notch, especially at night when all the neon signs are lit.
All the visual details in Cyberpunk 2077 do come at a premium though, as it's easily one of the most demanding titles on PC to date. Even the newest GPUs are still working hard to give players a visually immersive experience in Night City.
Now, Cyberpunk 2077 is about to get prettier.
According to CD Projekt RED, Patch 1.61 adds support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.1 which helps improve performance while maintaining visual quality. FSR is AMD's answer to Nvidia's DLSS. Both technologies use AI to upscale resolution allowing players to have better framerates and higher graphics settings. The main difference is that FSR runs on most GPUs while Nvidia's DLSS is only available for newer RTX cards.
FSR works by allowing the game to render graphics at a lower resolution, which helps boost framerates. The technology then upscales the resolution making it visually similar to how the game would look like if it was rendered using native resolution.
