Back in February 2018, Child's Play franchise creator, Don Mancini, was announced to be working with producer David Kirschner on a new TV series that will reportedly be canon to the original films. Later that same year, Brad Dourif's involvement was confirmed as he returns to be the voice of Chucky.

Now, in 2021, the Chucky TV series has finally started filming after being delayed from its planned 2020 premiere date, with filming scheduled to wrap up on August 11.

Considering that it's only a matter of time before the Chucky TV series airs on Syfy and USA Network, a couple of teasers for the upcoming slasher-horror TV series have been dropped. The most recent of which first appeared at Comic-Con 2021 and showcases the series' maniacal evil doll, Chucky, in all his modern glory.
