Netflix drops a terrifying trailer for Stranger Things Season 4 parstrat 2

Only 2 very long episodes remain for the penultimate season of Netflix's fan-favorite sci-fi series.

The latest Stranger Things trailer is just as out of this world as its figures.

The Twitterverse has barely moved on from when the first part of Stranger Things Season 4 landed and Netflix just went ahead and sent everyone on a bit of a meltdown.

Thankfully, after waiting for three years for the penultimate season of Stranger Things, the final set of episodes of Season 4 is coming soon.

But, before anything else, let’s check out the trailer:

The second installment of Stranger Thing’s fourth season will arrive on the popular streamer on July 1. After the first volume set a new Netflix record for most-watched English series, the second half of the show’s fourth season will look to one-up itself. Although it is actually just two episodes, each one is the longest in any Netflix series yet. The eighth episode, Papa, clocks in at 85 minutes. Meanwhile, the season finale, The Piggyback, is an Endgame-sized movie with a runtime of 139 minutes.

We were already expecting an epic finale, but seeing the trailer hits differently. Perhaps it’s the combination of the show’s young cast and their masterful performance along with Kate Buh’s Running Up That Hill that really drives the point home.

Either way, we’re expecting big things from the supernatural horror series, which currently holds four of the six top spots in Netflix’s official Top 10 TV list.

4.1 billion minutes of the first part of Stranger Things Season 4 were watched in its first three days of streaming alone.

By the way, the Duffer brothers confirmed earlier this year that the sci-fi behemoth will have at least one more season before they wrap things up. Don’t worry, the showrunners aren’t going anywhere as well. The siblings have also revealed that a spin-off is in the works. Not to mention, we can’t always discount the fact that Netflix could commission the series for the occasional standalone movie down the line.

Of course, that’s looking far too forward into the future – all we should hope for right now is a 2023 release date for the show’s finale.
