Netflix is set to hold a showcase revealing footage for its upcoming shows for the first time. This includes highly anticipated TV series such as The Witcher Season 2 and The Cuphead Show, among numerous others.
Details of the first-ever Netflix Geeked Week were announced via the company's official Twitter account. What to Expect from Netflix Geeked Week Geralt will finally make his long-awaited return to Netflix with Season 2 of The Witcher.
As already mentioned, Geeked Week is a showcase that, according to Netflix, will include "big news, exciting first looks, and more from the shows and films you love." Although we wouldn't have blamed Netflix if it simply announced that the showcase will be a celebration of all of its upcoming video game adaptations.
With that said, Netflix didn't really go into much detail as to what will be shown at the Netflix Geeked Week. Will it include each respective show's first trailers and release dates? Probably. If so, then it will mark the first time that fans will have a chance to see Season 2 of The Witcher, which recently finishing filming, and The Cuphead Show.
The Cuphead Show is an anime series based on the video game, Cuphead. It was first announced at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival last June 2020 and is set to release sometime this 2021.
The Cuphead Show and The Witcher aren't the only shows that will be showcased during Netflix Geeked Week though. Other confirmed TV series' that will make an appearance include Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Lucifer, The Umbrella Academy, The Sandman, Sweet Tooth, Cowboy Bebop, and Resident Evil.
