We've got some good news and some bad news for PC gamers looking forward to Forspoken. The good news is that the prices of graphics cards have gone down considerably, so you might be able to afford that upgrade you've always wanted. The bad news is that you're probably going to be needing an upgrade.

As the prettier and more-taxing version of the storage hog, Final Fantasy 15, Forspoken was always going to need serious hardware to run. Unfortunately, no one would've probably expected what Square Enix just revealed, even when you factor in Denuvo.

Because, if you'd like to enjoy Forspoken at 1440p and 30FPS, you'll need a PC built with parts that came out in the past two-three years. Meanwhile, running the game at 4K at a steady 60 frames per second requires 32GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTX 4080. Finally, you'll need at least 150GB of storage space (preferably on an SSD) to play Forspoken.

To put this into context, the Nvidia GTX 3070 and its AMD equivalent, the Radeon RX 6700, both retail in the $500 price range. On the other hand, you can get yourself an Nvidia GTX 4080 for $1,200.
