South Korean video game developer and publisher NCSoft Corporation has given fans a first look into its upcoming game, Project LLL, with the release of a gameplay trailer. Apart from the trailer, the company also released a developer diary, and a text interview with the title's project lead Seeder Jaehyun Bae.
The gameplay trailer is nine minutes long. It depicts different parts of Seoul with a soldier shooting his way through numerous enemy combatants. The game will require players to either work together or compete in its open-world environment that spans over 30 kilometers of land area.
Project LLL is a massively multiplayer online shooter video game. It will be played in the third person and, according to the game's project lead, Jaehyun Bae, falls under the science fiction category and can also be classified as a sub-genre of alternative fiction.
He stated, "It takes place in a world that started with the idea that the history we know progressed differently due to a particular event in the past. In [LLL], a devastated Seoul, the 10th century Byzantine Empire, and the 23rd century are all blended together in the same lore."
