Exactly two months ago, a significant chapter unfolded in NBA history as the Denver Nuggets clinched their first ever championship victory. Thankfully, developer Visual Concepts understood the assignment, or so to speak, as it unveiled the ratings for several NBA players, including The Joker, who tops the list with an incredible 98 overall rating. It’s evident Jokić’s performance during the past season left a profound impact on 2K Sports, considering his rating is one point higher than Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 97 overall rating for NBA 2K23.
NBA fans, especially Nuggets supporters, will likely be rushing to preorder NBA 2K24, but Jokić might not be as keen on playing as his virtual counterpart, as he seems to view basketball more like a regular job than a recreational pursuit.
Despite winning the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player and etching his name in basketball history as the first player ever to lead the playoffs in points, rebounds, and assists, the only thing he wanted more than anything was to simply go back home. Online glimpses into his life reveal that the 28-year-old spends most of his off-season time at the racecourse.

Other players whose overall ratings were revealed include Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lebron James, Joel Embiid, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry, each carrying a 96 rating. Luka Dončić, Jayson Tatum, and Jimmy Butler follow closely behind with a 95 rating, and Kawhi Leonard, Devin Booker, and Damian Lillard all hold a 94 overall rating.
In anticipation of NBA 2K24’s debut on September 8, additional player ratings have also been leaked.
