When Netflix premiered Narcos back in 2015, no one else could have predicted just how popular the series would become. Since then, the popularity of the Columbian drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar, has soared, as the rest of the world became much more curious about the inner workings of the drug trade. Although the series would go on for three seasons, one could argue that it reached its peak in the second season. It was in this season that the TV show reenacted the events that led to the capture and subsequent demise of the infamous drug lord.

Fast forward to 2018 and Narcos: Mexico would premiere to give audiences another set of protagonists and antagonists to cheer and root for with a story that centered around the Mexican drug trade as well as DEA agent Kiki Camarena and Guadalajara Cartel head Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo.

After two successful seasons, Narcos: Mexico is set to end with a third one. The best part is that Narcos: Mexico's final season is going to premiere sooner than you think.
