The WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes are in full swing. Despite studios downplaying the impact, their actions speak louder - which explains the decision to bring Ms. Marvel to broadcast TV.

, the Marvel Studios miniseries that debuted on Disney+ will now air on ABC starting August 5. The first three episodes will air at 7 PM, 8 PM, and 9 PM, with the final three episodes airing on August 12 at the same times.

Ms. Marvel is not Disney+'s first show to hit broadcast TV. Last year, Andor premiered its first two episodes on ABC, and earlier this year, The Mandalorian's debut episode aired on ABC, Freeform, and FX as a buildup to the show's third season.

Marvel Studios' decision to bring Ms. Marvel to ABC couldn't have been timed better. The show introduces Kamala Khan, one of the three protagonists in The Marvels, the upcoming film that serves as a sequel to Captain Marvel and a continuation of Ms. Marvel.
