Ms. Marvel's directors, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, have released an Instagram video post that teases a potential new season a few days after rumors surfaced that the series has been renewed for a second season.

Disney+ started airing Ms. Marvel in June 2022. Originally, the streaming platform intended for the show to exist as a miniseries that will help give the titular character a proper backstory before she goes on and joins the wider MCU with the release of The Marvels next year. However, following a positive reception, rumors emerged that Disney+ renewed the show for a further season.

Ms. Marvel Directors Tease New Season Renewal On Social Media

While Disney+ is yet to confirm these rumors, the directors are already teasing the second season on social media. The pair made a short video that featured interviews about their experience working on the show's first season with the following caption, "Just reminiscing on our time spent in the MCU, who's ready for season 2?!" Even if the caption suggests that work is ongoing on another season of the show, the fact that there's zero announcements means that fans should take every insinuation of a further season with a grain of salt.
