The future of DC Studios seems bright under the new leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran. The two filmmakers were recently appointed as the joint-CEOs of DC Studios, reporting directly to Warner Bros. Discovery's CEO, David Zaslav - a move that many fans celebrated. As a reward to his fans, James Gunn shared a photo of Mr. Terrific, possibly hinting at a project in the works.
With no text or caption, James Gunn posted a photo on his Twitter handle of The Modern Age Mister Terrific and his T-Spheres from the cover of JSA #76. Although Gunn did not confirm if there is a Mr. Terrific project in the pipeline, we can only assume that DC Studios is planning to feature the character somewhere in the future. Unsurprisingly, the photo invited a lot of attention and opinions from fans, particularly on who should play the role once a Mr. Terrific project is given the green light.
Among the actors proposed by fans are Lakeith Stanfield, William Jackson Harper, John Boyega, Sterling K. Brown, and Jonathan Majors. However, Sterling K. Brown and Jonathan Majors have joined the MCU, with the latter being cast as Kang the Conqueror, a role he's expected to play for several films in the MCU's Phase Five.
