Originally set to make its debut this September, the game has now retreated to a 2024 release. Best Way, the Ukrainian developer behind the game, has been hard at work, ensuring the game is as polished as a freshly cleaned tank. After a handful of successful beta weekends, it has gathered a treasure trove of feedback.
Maxim Kamensky, the game's producer, mentioned that the studio received so many fantastic suggestions that it simply couldn't iron out all the kinks in time for the September release. So, in a nutshell, it is delaying the game to ensure it's not just good, but great. We loved working with our dedicated community of fans during multiple Playtests and we gathered immense amounts of data and feedback. In fact, we received so many great suggestions we decided to implement, that the original schedule did not allow us to iron out all the bugs and issues in time for the September release. We feel that our fans deserve to receive a game in a completely polished and bug-free state and ask them for just a little more patience to allow us to deliver such a high-quality product. But it's not just about bugs and feedback. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine, where Best Way is based, has thrown a tank-sized blockade in the development process. The studio has faced challenges due to the illegal invasion of its homeland. It's a grim reminder that while we enjoy virtual wars on our screens, real conflicts have much more profound impacts.
