Firaxis Games unveiled a new cinematic trailer for Marvel's Midnight Suns at the Summer Game Fest while also confirming its release date.
In addition to verifying the already expansive cast of customizable characters, Firaxis also revealed at this year's event with Geoff Keighley that other characters will be in the game as well, including Spider-Man and Venom, among others.
Marvel's Midnight Suns join Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, as well as Marvel's Avengers and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, as some of the big-budget Marvel games to come out following the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, unlike the aforementioned titles, Marvel's Midnight Suns will take a page out of Firaxis' previous tactical RPG games.
Instead of brawling against your enemies, Marvel's Midnight Suns has players taking control of a wide range of comic book superheroes from Captain America to Blade and even Nico Minoru as well as Magik.
On top of established characters, Marvel's Midnight Suns will feature a fully customizable character unique to the game, The Hunter, the daughter of the main antagonist, Lilith, the mother of demons.
