In 2021, Marvel introduced what would be (based on the MCU timeline) the original superhero squad in the Eternals. The extraterrestrial team was sent to Earth to help civilization advance, which eventually lead to the birth of the celestial Tiamut.
The plot of the movie was very open-ended and fans have been speculating about whether or not we will see the characters again at some point in the future. The question has been answered by Nate Moore who is VP for Marvel Studios and producer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Speaking to Comicbook.com after the red-carpet premiere of the Black Panther sequel, Moore was asked by Brandon Davis about the future of the Eternals. "As an Eternals producer, will we see them anytime soon [in] Eternals 2?" Davis asks.
"I don't want to spoil anything, but we have not seen the last of those characters," Moore reveals during the interview.
Moore, who also produced the Eternals movie, did not specifically state an Eternals sequel. Though the confirmation from someone who is a VP of Marvel Studios would give fans a lot of hope for a second Eternals movie.
