Marvel's What If…? is coming back for a third season. The studio announced the renewal of the series for a third season by dropping a new teaser.
Marvel released the new trailer just ahead of the season finale for What If…? Season 2. The three-minute video gives its extremely satisfied fans a sneak peek at what's coming next for the highly-rated animated anthology series on Disney+.
The new trailer for the upcoming season features Marvel characters Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ranger Morales, and Bill Foster. The studio has not released the official title of the episode but a recent rumor suggests that it will be called "What If... Red Guardians Stopped the Winter Soldier?" The rumored title does seem to match up pretty well with the teaser video.
In the video, we see a variant of Red Guardian and Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier as they drive through America. The pair is stopped at a checkpoint by Bill Foster, who suspects that something fishy is going on. Barnes pulls out a gun on Foster and Red Guardian speeds off resulting in a high-speed chase. The pair of super soldiers elude capture at the end of the trailer with Red Guardian laughing as he drives through a corn field.
