Stan Lee is best known for creating Marvel Comics. His impact on movies and TV shows has been felt in the last decade or so as Marvel Studios has dominated Hollywood with the slate of films and TV series based on the characters created by the famed comic book writer. So, it's only natural that we're getting a documentary in time for what would've been his 100th birthday.

To celebrate the birthday of the late Stan Lee, Marvel Entertainment has announced a new documentary. Stan Lee: An Original Documentary celebrates the legacy of Lee and it will showcase the characters he created for Marvel Comics. The documentary's tagline is "100 years of dreaming. 100 years of creating. 100 years of Stan Lee."

The documentary will reportedly include some of the movie cameos of Lee. The writer has appeared in numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, often in a humorous fashion. One of the first movies to include Lee was Iron Man where Tony Stark mistakes Lee for Hugh Hefner.

The announcement comes on what would have been Lee's 100th birthday. The creator of Marvel comics was born on December 28, 1922, in New York City. Lee passed away in 2018 at the age of 95.
