Disney seems intent on taking full advantage of every property it owns. In what has to be a rather unexpected turn of events, Disney just announced a Marvel and Simpsons crossover that will premiere on Disney Plus on July 7.
Will the Marvel and Simpsons crossover be the first of many?
It's worth noting that this isn't the first time that The Simpsons have crossed over with other Disney franchises.
Previously, The Simpsons found themselves in an alien territory. Everybody's favorite family entered the Star Wars galaxy in an episode that was titled 'Maggie Simpson in the Force Awakens from its Nap. The short debuted on Star Wars Day and was released as part of Disney's celebration for the day that's dedicated to celebrating Disney's popular sci-fi franchise.
After the success of The Simpsons crossover with Star Wars, Disney is doubling up with a new short, The Good The Bart, and The Loki.
