Although previously set as a September 2022 release, Daedalic Entertainment and Nacon have officially announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be suffering further delays.
The project had been announced and in development since 2019 and had an initial target of mid to late 2021 for launch. However, circumstances (not the least of which being the COVID-19 global pandemic) led to delays in the production. Earlier this year, it was reported that the game would be out by fall of 2022.
