Loki has proven to be a big success for Marvel Studios and Disney in more ways than one. For one, the show's trailer set a viewership record for Disney+ shows after it racked up over 80 million views online following its release. A few months later, it premiered to 10.9 million views over three days to become the second-biggest television debut on the platform.
Now, Loki has added yet another feather to its cap with four Critics Choice Awards nominations. On Tuesday, December 5, the Critics Choice Association unveiled the television shows of the year that were nominated for awards at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards.
With four nominations, Loki is the third most nominated series, alongside Abbott Elementary, Lessons in Chemistry, Reservation Dogs, The Bear, Beef, and A Small Light. They series rank behind The Morning Show, which leads with six nominations, and Succession, with five nominations.
Loki received nominations in Best Actor in a Drama Series, Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, and Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Tom Hiddleston's titular character, Ke Huy Quan's Ouroboros, and Sophia Di Martino's Sylvie respectively.
