A Hollywood leaker has stated that Henry Cavill will appear in the upcoming Black Adam film that stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the titular character. In the past, the Twitter user has also leaked information about other superhero movies, including providing a first look at Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

While there is no official announcement from Warner Bros. or DC Films, @MyTimeToShineH is corroborated by another well-known Hollywood insider who goes by the Twitter handle @DanielRPK. Also, another rumor about the character claims that Cavill's suit in the film will be in line with what he wore in Man of Steel. However, it will feature brighter colors.

For some fans, the belief that Cavill will feature in Black Adam stems from Dwayne Johnson and Black Adam's director Beau Flynn admitting their desire to give fans what they want. And since many DC fans want to see Black Adam and Superman have an epic fight, many believe Cavill will reprise his role for that purpose, if for nothing else.

Cavill had his first stint as Superman in the Zack Snyder-directed Man of Steel movie which Warner Bros. released in 2013. Three years later, Cavill reprised his role as Superman in the 2016 movie, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, as well as the 2017 Justice League. While the movies grossed substantial sums, his performances generally had mixed reviews. However, many fans have expressed their desire to see him pick up the cape and feature as the character again.
