Latest Starfield Rumors Point Towards Earlier Release

This shouldn't be surprising though, given the current pandemic. What Is Starfield?

Starfield is the latest game from the developers behind famous RPG franchises such as The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

Unlike their previous titles though, Starfield is set to take place in space.

Unfortunately, we don't really have much information regarding Starfield outside of the fact that it's a Bethesda game that's going to be set in space.

Given the current rumors though, it is possible that we'll hear more about it soon. However, we shouldn't expect to hear more news regarding Starfield until Microsoft finalizes the deal to purchase ZeniMax Media. This isn't expected to happen until March.

The main reason why this is so important is that the deal could impact which platform Starfield will release on.

If it's any consolation though, Bethesda did recently announce that they are running a Make-A-Wish Evening of Wishes event auction wherein the winning bidder will get a chance to create their own character and have it featured in the game.

At the very least, this confirms that Starfield is currently in development.

Hopefully, Bethesda decides to put an end to all the rumors soon. This is especially since we're now inching closer to the expected closing date of Microsoft's acquisition of ZeniMax media.
