Kevin Hart has a promising update on the fourth installment of the Jumanji film series, four years after the premiere of the third entry.

During an interview with Variety on the Oscars' red carpet, Hart was asked when next he is teaming up with frequent collaborator Dwayne Johnson. In response, the Grammy Awards nominee revealed that he spoke to Johnson a few days prior and stated that they will have to "do it soon." He further revealed that they have "the ball rolling" on some big ideas.

The 43-year-old also touched on their next project, Jumanji, stating, "We're talking about, of course, another Jumanji. That's been a conversation. Just figuring out the thing that can act as what would or could be the final chapter of he and I. We feel like we need something big to put our duo to an end and not just leave it undone. Like something that we can say, 'This is going to be our last and final movie.'"

The Think Like a Man actor went on to state that he and Johnson might be involved in another franchise, although they are still thinking about it.

Hart's comments on Jumanji echo producer Hiram Garcia's 2022 revelationthat the film will definitely happen. Garcia also stated that they have a take on what the next film will be about.
