It looks like Christmas has come early to Grand Theft Auto Online, or rather, Halloween.
A few weeks before the Halloween update for GTA Online usually lands, Rockstar Games has released Judgement Day. This new GTA Online update adds a new Adversary mode that lets players play in opposite teams as powerful "riders" who must hunt down the "hunter" who are just trying to survive through the night. We're not quite sure if Rockstar took inspiration from Terminator or Ghost Rider, but the design is spot on.
The rules for Judgment Day are simple: the "Riders" will chase down the "Hunted" equipped with an LCC Sanctus Motorbike and a wide range of power-ups such as more weapons, abilities as well as extra health and speed. Among these extra perks include a double barrel shotgun, thermal vision, and a heartbeat sensor, among others.
All of these powers will come in handy as the only way for riders to win is to eliminate all of the hunted. But, if you think that the hunter are completely helpless, they're not. Although at a disadvantage, the hunted do get access to a handful of exclusive weaponry scattered all over the map.
