The internet went crazy last week when it was reported that Wonder Woman 3 was being canned. This led to speculation that DC plans to sunset the Zack Snyder Justice League.
DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn said that some of the rumored cancelations were true while others were only partly true. However, he didn't reveal which projects were axed and which are being reworked.
One character that is central to DC that fans have been asking about is Henry Cavill's Superman. The actor recently announced that he is coming back as the Man of Steel after a brief cameo in the recent Black Adam movie.
Cavill recently left his role as Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix series The Witcher shortly after announcing his return as Superman. The two are however unrelated as he had a different reason for leaving the hit Netflix show.
