There's been a lot going on at DC Studios following the massive shakeup brought about by the hiring of James Gunn and Peter Safran. The biggest and probably the most shocking piece of news is that Henry Cavill will not be returning as Superman. Gunn and Safran have decided to focus on a younger Superman moving forward. Then there's the cancellation of Wonder Woman 3 and talks that Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be Jason Momoa's last film as Arthur Curry / Aquaman.
Following the recent events, there have been rumors that DC Studios' co-CEOs plan to recast the entire cast of the DC Universe. Fans have termed it "Flashpoint" in reference to The Flash story arc where Barry Allen travels back in time and spawns an alternate timeline including new heroes.
Gunn once again took to Twitter to address fans and shut down the rumors regarding the recasting of the entire DC lineup. The director said that the rumors were "untrue."
