James Franco has been flying under the radar for quite a while now. However, it appears that one of the few times that the public will get a chance to hear from him will be when Franco testifies as part of the ongoing lawsuit between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Franco has reportedly been deposed to attest if he knew that Depp had abused Heard in some way or form.
Depp's lawyers' subpoena Franco for his testimony
James Franco is an award-winning actor and is best known for his roles in films like Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy as well as for his frequent collaborations with his close friend, Seth Rogen. After being in the public eye since bursting into the scene with 2001's James Dean, Franco lied low starting in 2017 after several women lodged allegations of sexual misconduct against him. The women, who were former students of his acting school, Studio 4, claimed that The Interview actor used his position to take advantage of the enrollees.
Surprisingly enough, this isn't the first time that Franco's name has re-emerged in public. The 43-year-old actor recently went on The Jess Cagle Podcast where he admitted to sleeping with the students of his acting school. However, he later explained that the more serious allegations were not true and the only reason he settled was to bring the lawsuit to an end.
