After IO Interactive confirmed that it's putting Agent 47 on ice to focus on James Bond, we learned a bit more about what a 007 game by the Hitman developers will be like.
IO Interactive'stop brass, Christian Elverdam and Hakan Abrak, shared several details about its in-development James Bond projects. In an interview with Eurogamer, Elverdam says the studio wants to "reinvent" James Bond in gaming.
brak explained this further, claiming that the goal is for a product that can "stand next to the TV and the movies and whatnot."
Specifically, Elverdam wants to emphasize that the studio's game will be an "origin story" because it will help them build a "James Bond character who was not a movie character but who's comfortably just his own game character."
Unfortunately, neither Elverdam and Abrak revealed more about when fans can expect to get their hands on IO's James Bond game.
