Tom Holland is still the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man. However, Holland will eventually have to retire from playing everybody's friendly neighborhood web-slinger and pave the way for someone else. Most fans speculate Holland's next trilogy will end with him passing the torch to a newer and younger Spider-Man. Now, fans believe that Marvel Studios might have cast Jaden Smith as the MCU's Miles Morales.

Miles Morales first appeared in the comic books back in 2011 and has since become a fan favorite. The younger Spider-Man was the star of the animated film, 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, voiced by Shameik Moore. Shameik is set to reprise his role as Miles' voice in the 2018 movie's two-part sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Meanwhile, Miles was the main playable character in 2020's Spider-Man: Miles Morales for the PS5 and he's expected to be one of two playable characters in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

TLDR; Miles is already in a good position to take over as Spider-Man, if not star alongside Peter Parker in other media.

Having said that, it was only a matter of time before the MCU introduced Miles Morales. Marvel Studios' cinematic universe already set up the future Spider-Man's existence with 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming when Donald Glover appeared on screen as Miles' uncle, Aaron Davis, and referred to his nephew.
