Asobo Studio is celebrating a significant achievement with A Plague Tale: Requiem, surpassing three million units sold within its first year. The studio is now teasing that it is working on a new game in the heartwarming series about horrible disease and flesh eating rat swarms.
Focus Entertainment announced that it has renewed its partnership with Asobo, which has proven quite successful thus far. The publisher also dropped hints that it is already working on a new game and thanked fans for supporting Requiem.
A heartfelt thank you to the 3 million players who embarked on the haunting journey of A Plague Tale: Requiem! Your support and passion mean everything to us," the publisher tweeted. "Seizing this moment, we're delighted to reveal our renewed collaboration with Asobo Studio for another exciting project!"
Neither Focus Entertainment nor Asobo Studio revealed what the "exciting project" might be. However, it isn't much of a stretch to suggest that the studio is working on a third Plague Tale game. Asobo Studio has primarily collaborated with Focus Entertainment on the Plague Tale franchise. The studio previously worked with Microsoft on Flight Simulator and Ubisoft on The Crew 2.
